My name is Sherri, I'm a mom of two and a Registered Nurse. My healthcare career spans over 20 years. I started my nursing career as a Certified Nursing Assistant out of high school. As a CNA, I worked mainly with geriatric patients. Shortly after becoming a CNA, I became a young mom and wanted to further my education in healthcare. I went to an 18-month LPN Program. I started making great money during this time still working with geriatric patients. When the facility I was working for was closing, I thought it would be the perfect time for me to go back to school for my Associates Degree to become a Registered Nurse. This was a tough time because I was working two PRN jobs, I was financially struggling, oh yeah, and I became pregnant with my second child. I was determined finish school and nothing was going to stop me! I graduated nursing school six months pregnant. I’m glad to say, I’ve been a Registered Nurse for nine years and recently graduated with my Bachelors Degree in 2022. Fall of 2023, I’m embarking on a new nursing journey to attend NP school.

I always like to say, I'm an upbeat person and my energy is palpable which I've heard before. I've been through trials and tribulations and have overcome by staying positive and true to myself.  

Besides being a nurse, I enjoy spending time with my children, traveling, trying different foods. I’m also spontaneous and like to try new things.
